Location
The apartment is close to Argentière railway station and just a 230m walk from the lifts for Les Grands Montets skiing area, ski slopes and shuttle buses.
The slopes around Argentière are suitable for intermediate and experienced skiers. Some higher slopes offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars to suit all budgets. For self-catering options, there is a weekly farmers’ market every Sunday morning in Place du Village (a 7-minute walk). There are also supermarkets for groceries and a boulangerie just 2 minutes away.
The Chamonix valley is an exciting holiday destination all year round. During the summer months, there are stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, white water rafting, golf, rock climbing, paragliding and horse riding. In the winter it is famous for its wide range of snow sports. Geneva airport is a 1-hour and 20-minute drive from the apartment. There are free shuttle services between Argentière and Chamonix on the Mont Blanc Express.
